The Royal Observatory, Edinburgh is unique among UK scientific establishments in that it houses a university astronomy research group on a single site, an establishment of a UK Research Council and a Visitor Centre.

Lime Mechanical & Electrical was delighted to be appointed to rewire and install a new panel board at such a historic and architecturally significant building in Scotland’s capital.

Our team is well versed in working in historic buildings and is experienced in meeting the challenges such facilities can present. However, in this instance, the project was completed on time and within budget without any unforeseen difficulties. It’s another project we are proud to have in our portfolio of interesting projects.
