In a post covid world, commercial property landlords are adjusting to new expectations. Many businesses have moved to hybrid working arrangements, and many companies are striving to provide the type of spaces now expected by the workforce. Even those who have returned to the office are demanding areas where they feel welcome and can relax during a time out.

In response, the building’s owners invested in creating a multi-functional space incorporating a reception area, kitchenette, collaborative and private working spaces, and social seating. This space truly caters to the user’s well-being and reflects an awareness of sustainability and environmental appreciation.

Lime Mechanical & Electrical was delighted to be selected for the Spectrum Building contract. We were responsible for lighting and power for the redesigned reception area. Design and installation were critical to the success of this project, and we were pleased to work with high-specification products and materials and ultimately deliver the standard of workmanship that makes the final result an unqualified success.
